In its attempt to be competitive with traditional supermarkets, Amazon has launched a service called Amazon Pantry which allows customers to choose household goods from an array of 4,000 items. However, the service does not offer frozen and fresh food items. Amazon has been testing the service in London and is scheduled to roll out the service in other cities later in the year.

Amazon's new service is intended to complement its existing Prime subscriptions. It also has partnered with grocers in order to offer delivery services. This includes a collaboration between Prime and Morrisons that will allow Prime members to shop for all of their groceries online, and have it delivered the next day.

At present, the service is only available in London and the Home Counties. However, it will be extended to other locations in 2021. You'll need a valid email address and an address in order to take advantage of the service. The Amazon Fresh app guides you through the process for selecting your groceries and deciding on an hour-long delivery time.

The first till-less store opened in west London in 2021 and was the first venture of the company outside the US. The store was then shut along with two other stores in Wandsworth and East Sheen on Sunday.
